MAGICAL BACKGROUND - The Magic Jester’s interest in magic started as a young child. While wandering aimlessly around his local shopping centre trying to find his parents, he happened to stumble on a magician on stage cutting a woman in four sections. He was totally mesmerized by the effect and was determined to find out how it was possible. After many attempts to emulate the feat on his sisters, cutting them in half but having difficulty putting the pieces back together, his interest in magic declined until as a young adult he had a vision of the future - performing as a magician. It was at this point, after finding a supplier that he bought so many tricks, he soon realised that he had to do something with them as he could no longer hide them from his wife...

PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND - The Magic Jester has an amazing ability to relate with any audience. This is supported by having tertiary teaching qualifications and experience, including several years writing policy documents and programs for the NSW Public School System and the NSW Police, delivering education and guidance to school children (Pre school to year 12), as well as disadvantaged and incarcerated youth. He has published two studies on youth issues and the impact of social issues on youth crime.

The Magic Jester is one of Australia’s leading entertainers, with 15 years of award winning experience in all types of magic, this extremely versatile performer can entertain the smallest of children right through to the oldest of adults (his oldest fan is 104!). The Magic Jester’s show includes a dove and rabbit with stage shows using multiples of both and stage illusions (although the rabbits remain separated at all times...)
